Finished in light metallic blue with a contrasting red interior, this 1977 Pontiac Firebird Formula is a striking right-hand-drive example with excellent supporting documentation. Imported into Australia during the early 1990s, it underwent a full restoration and right-hand-drive conversion in 2000 and is accompanied by its original import papers, certificate of title, build sheets and certificate of modification.
Powered by a 350ci V8 and paired with a TH350 automatic transmission, the engine has been upgraded with Hooker headers, an Edelbrock intake manifold, 650 Brawler carburettor and mild camshaft. It is also equipped with power steering, air conditioning and a custom twin 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust system.
Considerable recent mechanical work has been completed, including a full steering and suspension rebuild with new suspension rubbers fitted throughout the front and rear. The interior floors have been cleaned, treated with POR-15 and fitted with Dynamat, while the underside has been stripped and Raptor coated.
